KAYAKING
Have you ever been in a Kayak? Well, these kayaks you actually sit ON. Your legs are not “inside” the kayak. You are sitting in a chair shaped impression in the top of the kayak! These rental kayaks are “pretty stable”, and you shouldn’t tip over unless you are “trying to get wet”…… or have super horrible balance. Sitting ON a kayak puts you directly into the UV rays of the sun, so we STRONGLY suggest that you bring sunscreen ALONG WITH YOU so that you can “re-apply” every hour or so. IF NOT…. The next 1-2 weeks of your life may very well be a whole lot of uncomfortable, pain, and anguish. The kayak renter will NOT leave you at the river unless he sees that you are comfortable on the kayak. If you are not doing too well…..no worries! We will supply you with a tube so that you can still unplug and relax while floating down the current on one of our rental Tubes! This is IF we have a tube in stock at that time (if not, you will be able to reschedule at no additional charge). We want this to be a “no stress trip” for you and will NOT push you out of your comfort zone. Remember. These are rental kayaks, and so they do not have power seats and tinted windows, so Please remember the sunscreen, a bottle of water, and a waterproof container for your phone. We are not liable if your phone goes swimming, and would be very sad that you could not like our Facebook page, and give us a wonderful review, all because you forgot your personal supplies. Also Remember that a kayak is a water vessel and so you can still get a B.U.I (Boating under the influence/Floating under the influence). Please be responsible and bring my baby (the kayak) back safely. The Kayaks pull up real nice onto the shore and you are MORE than welcome to pull on any sandbars to explore the beautiful things around you just remember to pull the kayak ALL the way onto shore so I do not have to go kayak hunting! I usually go kayaking 4 out of 7 days to unwind and unplug. This is a great way to decompress. Happy Paddling!
